RSE signs joint statement on Scotland’s relationship with Europe post Brexit

The RSE has joined colleges, universities, Trade Unions and the Scottish Government in a joint statement reflecting a united approach towards EU students, staff & research endeavour post Brexit. The statement urges the UK Government to introduce a Post-Study Work Visa in Scotland, continue research collaboration and safeguard education relationships with Europe.

The statement was released to coincide with a Brexit summit held at the University of Glasgow on Thursday 22 November 2018, organised by Further Education, Higher Education and Science Minister, Richard Lochhead MSP. RSE President, Professor Dame Anne Glover spoke for the RSE at the summit.
