In a letter to the Prime Minister, RSE President, Professor Dame Anne Glover urged the Prime Minister to take all necessary steps to secure an early deal on science and research in the Brexit negotiations, ensuring the closest possible research relationship with the EU, including: full participation in the European Framework programmes for research and innovation and the European Research Council; close collaboration in European research networks; and continued access to international facilities for research, innovation and scholarship.
