Science Scotland is a publication that promotes the best of Scottish-based research & innovation to audiences at home and abroad. Published twice a year in magazine format and available to view on this website, Science Scotland is sent to more than 4,000 key individuals and organisations around the world.
The content of the publication is always at the cutting edge, providing readers with articles of a high intellectual standard. Science Scotland is produced as part of an expanding international programme that seeks to showcase internationally the best of Scottish-based research & innovation.
The most recent edition, published in May 2019, Start-Ups: Unlocking Ambitions focuses on ten of the most promising young start-up companies in Scotland, most of which benefitted from involvement in the RSE Enterprise Fellowship scheme at some stage in their development. This edition was a follow up to Science Scotland 22 Start-Ups: Shaping Scotland’s Future, which similarly featured nine start-up companies.
