Science Scotland is a publication that promotes the best of Scottish-based research & innovation to audiences at home and abroad. Published twice a year in magazine format and available to view on this website, Science Scotland is sent to more than 4,000 key individuals and organisations around the world.
Through an editorial board that consists of some of Scotland’s leading science & technology academics, the content of the publication is always at the cutting-edge, providing readers with articles of a high intellectual standard. Science Scotland is produced as part of an expanding international programme that seeks to showcase internationally the best of Scottish-based research & innovation.
The most recent edition, Biodiversity: Spotlight on Scotland was produced to coincide with a two-day Conference held at the RSE, in partnership with the British Ecological Society; Scottish Natural Heritage; NERC; RSPB; Sefari; Young Scot; SEPA and the Forestry Commission Scotland.
