There is also news of some of our Fellows, as well as information about the RSE Young Academy of Scotland, an international case study and recent Policy Advice papers.

Featured in this first issue of our newsletter in 2018 is news of the Triennial Dinner held in January 2018, in honour of our outgoing President, Jocelyn Bell Burnell DBE; the Guest of Honour at the Dinner was Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, an Honorary Fellow of the RSE.
The Autumn issue features the challenges and opportunities of Brexit and the RSE’s visit to China. It also announces a £52k legacy received, a special portrait of RSE ‘grandfather’ Colin Maclaurin and announces a 2018 Pharmacology celebratory event.
