Professor Dame Sue Black DBE FBA FRCP FRAI FRSE, one of the world’s leading forensic scientists and author of All That Remains, has been appointed as a peer in the House of Lords.

Her work in forensic anthropology and anatomy has had a profound effect not only in Scotland, but across the UK and globally and has helped place this country at the heart of pioneering forensic anthropological research. She is truly deserving of this peerage, and I congratulate her on this honour.”
