The RSE’s new Research Awards programme launched today provides different funding opportunities, for all academic disciplines and for all career stages. It aims to ensure that the RSE provides for, and responds to, the needs of Scotland’s academic communities and society. Applications may be made from today.
The revised RSE Research Awards programme aims to support Scotland’s academic researchers, nurture promising talent, stimulate research in Scotland, and to promote international collaboration which will be of lasting benefit to the individuals and communities concerned and to wider society. The Research Awards Programme will run twice a year, spring and autumn, consisting of four main themes:
- Small Grants
- Research Workshop and Network Grants
- International Awards
- Research Fellowships

The Royal Society of Edinburgh has refreshed its Research Awards Programme following an extensive review.
