Dame Seona Reid DBE FRSE

Trustee and Chair Scotland, Heritage Lottery Fund.

Dame Seona Reid is an arts administrator whose previous roles include Director of Scottish Arts Council (1990 – 1999) and Director of Glasgow School of Art (1999 – 2013). She also has a portfolio of non-executive roles including Chair of National Theatre of Scotland and Cove Park Artist Residency Centre; Trustee of Tate Gallery; Scotland’s Commissioner on the UK-US Fulbright Commission. Current roles include Deputy Chair of the National Heritage Memorial Fund and Heritage Lottery Fund and Chair of the Scotland Committee. Seona’s interests include arts, heritage, education, funding, public and third sector policy, management, and governance. She is also an advocate for equality and diversity, particularly relating to gender and sexual orientation. She became a Dame in the 2014 New Year Honours for services to the Creative Industries.
