Professor of Chemical Physics, University of Glasgow.
Professor Klaas Wynne is a physical chemist who has been Chair of Chemical Physics since 2010, before which he was at the University of Strathclyde for 14 years. He is interested in the structure, and the ultrafast and ultraslow dynamics of liquids and solutions. He studies peptides, proteins, and other biomolecules but treats them as amorphous blobs behaving much like liquids. Klaas has over 70 papers published in peer-reviewed journals. His other interests include rock-climbing, mountaineering, graphic design and typography.
