Professor Kathleen Jamie FRSE

Professor of Creative Writing, University of Stirling.

Professor Kathleen Jamie is a poet and essayist. According to one critic, her work is situated at ‘the confluence of travel, nature and culture’. Another cited it as being placed ‘somewhere between the Presbyterian and the Tao’. Recent publications include ‘The Bonniest Companie’ (2015), which won the Scottish Saltire Book of the Year Award. Kathleen’s non-fiction works ‘Findings’ and ‘Sightlines’ are regarded as landmarks of New Nature Writing.
