After being involved in its founding, Professor Carol Tannahill has been Director of the Glasgow Centre for Population Health since 2003 and is currently Chief Social Policy Adviser to the Scottish Government. Her work focuses on approaches to improve population health and reduce inequalities in outcomes as well as the relationship between national policy and community-based delivery and experience. Carol is a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health, and Honorary Professor at the University of Glasgow and Glasgow Caledonian University.
