Professor Adam Tomkins is one of the leading constitutional lawyers in the UK. He has held the John Millar Chair of Public Law at the University of Glasgow since 2003, having formerly taught at St Catherine’s College, University of Oxford (2000-03) and at King’s College London (1991-2000). In 2009, he was appointed legal advisor to the House of Lords Constitution Committee and held that position until 2015. In 2016, Adam was elected a Member of the Scottish Parliament for Glasgow for the Scottish Conservatives Party and sits on the Scottish Parliament’s Finance Committee and Security Committee.
