SUPA and the RSE will be holding a one-day SUPA/Cormack Astronomy Meeting 2019 on Monday 9 December 2019 at the RSE.
The meeting is particularly relevant to research students and staff working in Scottish universities in the field of Astronomy and Space Science. It gives the opportunity for participants to meet, discuss research and hear about new developments. This year, the meeting will also include a session on Wellbeing and Resilience, led by Dr Sara Shinton, and a talk by Dr Pamela Klaassen on Scotland’s role in the James Webb Space Telescope.
There is the opportunity to present your work at a general-interest level in a 20-minute talk or, for more focused research, through an extensive poster session. All poster authors will be given the opportunity to present one slide outlining their poster. Should you wish to present a poster or talk, please ensure this is outlined in the registration form.
We will be in touch after the submission deadline to let you know if your talk has been selected and send the programme for the day.
Please note registrations are now closed.
