ASSOCIATED EVENT – STEM for Britain 2019 – a poster competition at Westminster for early-career researchers

This event has passed

STEM for BRITAIN is a poster competition and exhibition which has been held in Parliament since 1997. Its aim is to give members of both Houses of Parliament an insight into the outstanding research work being undertaken in British universities by early-career researchers. In previous years we have been pleased to welcome more than 80 parliamentarians to the exhibition during the course of the day.

Applications are invited from early-stage and early-career research scientists, engineers, technologists and mathematicians who wish to exhibit posters.

Applicants should prepare material aimed at communicating high level science, engineering or mathematics to a lay audience.

STEM for BRITAIN will be held in the House of Commons on Wednesday 13 March 2019.

Full details of the competition and how to apply can be found on the STEM for BRITAIN or please get in touch with the Event Manager, Leigh Jeffes if you have any further questions.
