Perspectival Realism: Science, Knowledge and Truth from a Human Vantage Point
Philosopher of science Michela Massimi, and the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) physicists Alan Barr, Jon Butterworth, Tiziano Camporesi and Monica D’Onofrio were at the RSE for a half-day workshop dedicated to some of the methodological challenges, philosophical implications and experimental prospects in the search for Physics Beyond the Standard Model at CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
This event was part of a project that had received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement European Consolidator Grant H2020-ERC-2014-CoG 647272 Perspectival Realism).
