Are you interested in carrying out some of your studies outside the UK?
Do you like the idea of collaborating with fellow engineers across the globe?
If so, join us on the 29 January to find out more about the RSE’s John Moyes Lessells Travel Scholarships (deadline 4 March 2019, 5pm). At this event, you will find out about the application process, eligibility criteria, types of visits we support and the selection processes. You’ll also have the opportunity to hear from past awardees about their experiences and get to meet the RSE Selection Panel. Please feel free to bring your application forms and ask questions.
These RSE Travel Scholarships arise from a bequest from the late Professor John Moyes Lessells, an eminent mechanical engineer who emigrated to the United States of America in 1920. They are open to Honours Graduates in Engineering from Scottish Universities, who wish to study some aspect of their profession outside the UK. All branches of Engineering are eligible for consideration, including computer and software engineering. We would particularly welcome applications for scholars seeking to study in Asia, Africa or South America.
