Curious times call for curious minds
Curious returns this August, a month-long series of online events bringing together some of Scotland’s leading thinkers and practitioners, curated to make us question the world around us.
You’re invited to take part in thought-provoking talks, quiz-an-expert in a unique group discussion or get hands-on in an online workshop – quench your curiosity on a range of topics including: space technology; mental health; cancer research; video games; death; language; menstruation; conversational AI; and many more.
Some highlights include Baroness Ashton giving the RSE’s annual MacCormick lecture on the future of foreign policy, and a panel discussion with author Val McDermid about the representation of science in fiction.
Each event is free to attend, taking place throughout August but places are limited, so remember to book your virtual seat. You can view the full line up and book your place here rse-curious.com
