Funding area: Arts & Humanities, International, Social Science
Aiming to establish a two-way flow of scholars between Scotland and Europe, the RSE is pleased to offer CRF (Caledonian Research Fund) European Visiting Research Fellowships to researchers working in the Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences.
These CRF Fellowships provide financial assistance, up to a maximum of £6,000, as a contribution towards the costs of travel and subsistence.
There are two separate CRF Visiting Research Fellowship schemes available and each has its own application form:
- Visits to Europe enable eligible staff in Scottish higher education institutes to visit other European countries overseas for periods of between 2-6 months.
- Visits to Scotland enable nominated scholars from other European countries outside the UK to carry out research or study in Scotland for similar periods.
